SFN is live

Kassandra has done this great advert for me for our new site SFN.

In future, all our squirrel fic stories are going to be hosted there.

It’s pretty much done now, although I will probably be doing some more tweaking over the weekend.

SFN is nearly here

Kass and I are busy working on a new site called Squirrel Fiction Network, or SFN for short. As the main editor and system admin, I have been busy getting it set up, but I haven’t forgotten my fans, and there should soon be some new chapters of Solaris Device for you to read.

SFN is mainly for us to post all the squirrel fiction stories. It was getting a bit crowded on here, and I wanted to make it easier for you to find the stories.

Sadly, this means I am going to loose all your lovely comments, when I clear down my personal blog, for which I apologize.

If you are a squirrel, and you write fan fiction (even if it isn’t SGA/SG1), why don’t you send me a link, or post a comment here and I can stick it on SFN. I have a few of you already, but it’s ok if you want me to post multiple links, if you have work on a lot of different sites. For now I am mostly interested in written fiction, including poetry and comic books, but if you want to send me your blog sites,  I can post them here.

I also want to have a list of useful links for squirrels, e.g. dGeek (of course) and squee4d, so if you have a site you think I should include let me know.

I reserve the right not to use the links if I don’t think they are suitable, and it’s up to you to warn me if the link expires.

If you want to be a squirrel fiction writer, then let me know. The stories should -

• be suitable for age 13 + audience.
• include some of the squirrels as characters (don’t forget to ask them first) it’s ok if the squirrel is you.
• be based on Stargate SGA/SG1 OR a David Hewlett movie/show (tell me which one
• if possible they should be read by a beta. Some of our early stuff wasn’t, but now Kass and I check each other’s work.
• Not duplicates of work on another site (apart from your personal blog) – but you can send me a link.

Up till now, the stories Kass and I have written have had a mostly consistant timeline, but if you want to set up your own AU we don’t mind.

Finally, please don’t forget that this is just a hobby I do in my rapidly diminishing free time, so it may take a while to post all your links etc.

Most of the content is there now, and I am setting up and testing the site navigation to make sure you will have no problems finding the stories.
